Our Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation North East branch has been in operation for over 15 years and became active after the death of local member Senior Constable Rennie Page on Tuesday, 26th April, 2005.  The Branch continues to be well supported by the local community and their team of volunteers.

The Branch has to date funded seven community hospital projects dedicated to members who have died in the line of duty (details below) and the current President and committee of the Branch are committed to continue giving back to local community in honour of the fallen members.

In 2017, the North East Branch with support from the local communities donated $51,000 to a Patient Rehabilitation Gymnasium at North East Health, Wangaratta. This new facility assists in the physical rehabilitation of patients across a range of conditions and provides ongoing out-patient care after they have left hospital. The facility was named in honour of Senior Constable Kerr who had served in the local area for more than 20 years, he was highly respected and a good friend to many.
