The Maryborough Branch received its charter in early 2014 and set its first goal to build a new facility at the Maryborough Hospital in memory of S/C Maurice Moore.

In 2016, the branch was proud to open the Maurice Moore Urgent Care Centre Maryborough Hospital and also a Memorial Garden at the local Police station. S/C Maurice Moore was killed in September 1986 whilst on duty at Maryborough and it is fitting that he now has these local honours in his name.

The branch welcomes new members and volunteers.
