Angela Taylor Memorial Scholarships
In April 1986 Constable Angela Rose Taylor was killed when a car bomb exploded outside the Russell Street Police Complex. As a lasting memorial to Constable Taylor, a scholarship trust was created to give study grants to members of Victoria Police. The grants provide funding for specific and approved police or public saftey related study in Australia and overseas so that new skills, techniques and experiences can be utilised within Victoria Police for the benefit of the Victorian community.

Police Training Academy Awards
The Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation is proud to sponsor awards that encourage training excellence during the initial phase of training for new Constables at the Victoria Police Academy. Two awards are offered to each recuit squad and are presented by the Chief Commissioner of Police during their swearing in and marching out parade.
The Angela Taylor Memorial Academic Highest Acahiver Award is presented to the recruit from each squad who achieves the highest scores in academic achievement during the initial 23 weeks of training.
The Tynan-Eyre Memorial Operational Skills Highest Achiever Award is presented to the recruit from each squad who achieves the highest scores in physical skills during the initial 23 weeks of training.
Tynan-Eyre Memorial Scholarships
In October 1988 Constables Steven Tynan & Damian Eyre were ambushed and murdered in Walsh Street, South Yarra. As a lasting memorial to Cnstables Tynan & Eyre, a scholarship trust was created to give study grants to members of Victoria Police. The grants provide funding for specific and approved police or public saftey related study in Australia and overseas so that new skills, techniques and experiences can be utilised within Victoria Police for the benefit of the Victorian community.
