Neil Soullier, OAM

Neil Soullier was one of the founding members of the Tynan-Eyre Memorial Foundation in 1988 and was elected to the Board of the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation when it was formed in 1998. During his service to both organisations Neil has held the roles of Secretary, Treasurer and Deputy Chairman. In 1999 he retired from a professional retail career to become the Foundation's full-time Chief Executive.

Neil held many roles in a 25-year career with Tandy Electronics including State & National Franchise Manager, National Promotions & Marketing Manager, State Manager, Retail Operations in Queensland, National Personnel Manager and Regional Service Manager.

After becoming full-time Chief Executive he has encouraged the Blue Ribbon Foundation's growth through an expanding range of merchandise. He introduced the concept of Constable T. Bear that has now become a signature product and he has designed and developed every edition released to date. Neil also played a role in developing Blue Ribbon Day, the expansion of regional branches and many other community based programs.

Neil was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in January 2001, the Centenary Medal in 2001. He is a Director for the Emergency Services Foundation of Victoria and a Life Australia Day Ambassador.
